scenography for menswear fashion brand “maisontrois”
2007
Paris - 2e - Palais Brongniard
Duration of works :
2 weeks
Surface :
9 m²
Men’s prêt-à-porter brand “maisontrois” wanted to create a very simple exhibition stand for hippest fashion show “Tranoï” in Paris. With almost no budget and a tiny surface which precise dimensions couldn’t be known until D-day, the brand asked to imagine a visually strong and nonetheless functional showcase for their clothes.
The idea came to create a partially hidden graphic stand, reflecting the confidential concept of the brand, with a geometric black ribbon spreading from the top to the floor, allowing the exhibition of different sized clothes : starting by hanging with coats, trousers, then shirts, and using the ribbon as a shelve in the end to put smaller accessories.
The stand was 100% homemade (MDF, pinewood for the floor, paint) by the brand team and the architect.
